Do you know if this build is capable of using the hardware decoding capabilities of the S922X SoC for H.265? Last I had heard, this was only working in the Ubuntu Minimal and CoreElec images for the N2.

Will report back if I get the IR remote working. I have an FLIRC module I can use to test.

I will continue experimenting with this - at this point I am not sure whether the problem is the inbuilt IR port on the N2+, or a problem with the device profile being used in my remote (it's a Logitech Harmony 650).

No idea what the IR Remote configuration profile needs to be for this ROM - a standard media player profile as mentioned in this forum post does not work at all.

Will report back if I can hack it to work.

Changing partition order, resizing etc all trash the image.

As already reported by qbertaddict (and verified by you), the image does not resize for bigger cards.

For the non-bootable eMMC, I looked at it in GParted and the partitioning scheme seemed a bit odd, to say the least.

The workaround for me, to get a bootable and working eMMC, as to use an older version of the Linux x84 etcher: 1.5.102-圆4.

An 8GB SD card did work fine with this version of Etcher.

Using the latest (as of this writing) Linux 圆4 version of Balena Etcher, 1.5.108-圆4, the flash to eMMC resulted in a non-bootable eMMC.
